PIPE LOWERING CRADLE

Lowering Cradles are designed to use one single length of cable throughout the four. Loops of rollers to facilitate complete load equalization. Rollers are covered with molded polyurethane or nylon to eliminate metal contact with the pipe. Lowering Cradles lift pipe section while Polyurethane/Nylon rollers protect pipe coating, pipe damage and easy to line travel operation.

Project pipe and wrapping, Eliminates pipe creasing and scarring. Each cradles permits use of multiple pipe sizes. Models are available for pipe sizes from 6” to 64”. The design provides quick disassembly for transit and storage. Forms continuous roller surrounding lower half of pipe, keeps pipe on centre. Pipe can be kept close to ground, allowing operators more control and mobility.

The pipeline equipment Pipe Lowering Cradle is designed to hoist piping and lay it in trench or to hoist it for covering operation before then laying it back in the trench. Easy to install and remove from the operating machine, it is also low maintenance. The roller, fitted with bearing and a polyurethane / Nylon cover, reduce running resistance and prevent localized deformation of the piping. It features non-marring rollers with anti-friction bearings mounted on high-strength cables.
